Easy Fruit Cobbler

Here is another recipe from Sandra, dessert cook extraordinaire.

2 cups flour
1 - 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp. baking powder

1 - 1/2 cups milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla

16 oz. can of pie filling, your choice
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup sugar, optional

Sift the dry ingredients. Mix well with the milk, beaten egg, and vanilla. Spread in an oblong pyrex baking dish that has been well buttered. Mix the pie filling, water, and sugar together and spread evenly over the top of the batter. 

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
