Poppy Seed Cake

From Bucksnort's ancient recipe box.

1 yellow cake mix
1 pkg. instant french vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil (you may use butter-flavored oil, if you wish)
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup sherry
1/2 cup poppy seeds

Mix all well, beat until smooth. Bake in a greased angel food pan for one hour at 350〫

Hi Claire, I tried to visit your other blog after you'd kindly posted on my skywatch entry, but the site wouldn't load.

I love this idea for a recipe blog! My son has just gone away to university, and I've had requests for the family chocolate brownie and Dutch apple cake recipes. I didn't think about a blog for it tho!

I see from your profile that you like Elizabeth Goudge - I've never met anyone else who's even heard of her. I espcially love 'Towers in the Mist'.
