Beer Moppin’ Sauce

This is a great basting sauce for grilling meat.

¼ cup vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped fine
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 12 oz. bottle of beer
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup cider vinegar
2 tbl. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbl. prepared brown mustard

Cook onion and garlic in oil until softened, about 4 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients, bring to a simmer, and continue cooking on low heat for about 10 minutes.
