Red Meat Sauce à la Auntie

Another recipe from Auntie Bucksnort's creative kitchen. You know, she raises all those fresh herbs right there on her porch.

(good on pasta and in lasagna)

chopped garlic and onion caramelized in evoo [extra virgin olive oil]

add and brown ground sirloin & spicy Italian sausage

add and sautée chopped mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, spinach, tomatoes

add tomato sauce & paste

add burgundy

add fresh chopped curly parsley, basil, chives, sweet marjoram, Italian parsley, rosemary to taste

add salt, sugar & lemon juice to taste

add powdered oregano, paprika & allspice to taste

Cook for hours and hours and hours.
